This quick overview shows one phase of a project in progress by Standby Power System Consultants’s Integrated Power Services team. The end use is a retail chain datacenter application. This phase entailed unpacking 13 Eaton RS 52U enclosures, and installing ePDU hanger brackets, vertical cable management troughs and front-mounted air dams. After work was completed, the team inspected the enclosures and repackaged them for shipping to final destination. The requirement challenges were demanding: 24 hours of battery runtime at 550 watts, high operating temperatures and the ability to function in a salty, seaside application.
